    Travel Information

Delegates should make their own arrangements for travel to and from the conference centre. Your accommodation and conference registration is in The Radcliffe.

We have created a travel details Google Doc for everyone to share their travel arrangements with each other and organise car or taxi sharing. Please try and share any taxis from the train station/airport with at least two other people.

How to get to the venue:
    By Rail
Coventry train station is the nearest station to the venue. There is a taxi rank outside the station and a single journey to the Radcliffe/Slate should cost between £10.00 and £15.00, however prices may vary depending on traffic.
Birmingham New Street station is also only 20 minutes away by taxi.
By Bus from Coventry train station The 11 and 12 bus routes will both take you to the venue. You’ll need to have the right money as the bus drivers don’t give change. Both buses depart from the Rail Station Bridge SD stop on Warwick Road, a one-minute walk from Coventry station. The journey to the venue will take approximately 30 minutes. Ask the driver to alert you when the bus arrives at the stop nearest to The Slate, Warwick Conferences, on Scarman Road.
By Air The closest airport is Birmingham Airport. A taxi from the airport will take about 20 minutes and cost around £30. Alternatively, you can take a direct train to Coventry station from Birmingham International station which is located at the airport.
    By car:
Use the postcode CV4 7SH. This will direct you to Scarman Road. You’ll then need to follow the directional signage to Lakeside Village where you’ll find signposts for Radcliffe and The Slate, which are both directly opposite each other.
If your sat nav does not recognise CV4 7SH, use CV4 7AL which will take you to Gibbet Hill Road. From there follow the directional signage to Lakeside Village which will then take you to Scarman Road.
There is free parking at the venue. A parking permit is not required but you will be required to collect an exit code from reception prior to departure.
All the above information can also be found on the venue’s website
If you have any queries about the joining instructions, please contact Arabella by email at any time, or from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 June by telephone on +44 (0) 131 524 5720 (please note this number will only be in use on the dates specified).
