Not So Different. (11 to 19)

SEN students are not included all the time because they are ‘different’. This project’s aim to to show them and society that students with SEN are ‘Not So Different’ through a series of activities that the partners will mirror (copy). These activities could include: *writing about the subjects they study in school. *sharing traditional recipes that partnership schools will make. *sharing information about themselves (what their school day is like, family, hobbies). *sharing of languages (students from partnership schools make videos of themselves saying the days of the week, colours, greetings, number etc) and share them so the other partnership schools can have a go at learning some words from a different language. *sharing of traditional stories. *Not So Different Box - each partnership school put together a box that represents them, the box can include: fact sheets on their country, flags, pictures of the landscape, pictures of the students, national anthem, cookbook... *emails etc.
