This project aims at 13-14 year old students (7th and 8th year). The working language is English. The duration of the project is two months. Having in mind the English curricula for the 7th and 8th year in participating countries, the main objective of the project is to motivate students for learning a foreign language (English) and engage them in the school library activities, by making friends with a different school in Europe (Portugal and Croatia). By combining activities promoted by librarians and English teachers, such as: “Bookmark exchange”; Skype sessions "Extensive reading” and “Getting to know the partner country better” and ˝Email exchange among students using eTwinning Live”, students will be able to learn more about another country, develop communicative skills (speaking and writing) and reading skills.
