It Is A Honor And A Joy To Collaborate With You, Your Villages, Towns, Cities And Communities! We Represent The I * Circolo Didattico Statale San Filippo. We Are Located In The Northern Tiber River Valley, Region Of Umbria, Central Italy. There Are 6 Pre-Primary Schools And 6 Primary Schools In Our Administration; These 12 Schools Are Situated In Two Different Municipalities: Città di Castello And Monte Santa Maria Tiberina (Mountain Territory, Central Apennines). About 1,000 Students, 120 Educators, More Than 20 Auxiliary And Administrative Staff Currently Operate In Our Schools.
San Filippo International Primary School Consists Of Five Classes: Ist, IInd, IIIrd, IVth, Vth; Each Class has A Section A - Full Time' With 40 hours per Week And A Section B - Time Normal' With 30 Hours Per Week. The Families Decide On These Options. Last Year 181 Students Attended San Filippo I.P.S.; These Students And Families Represent Various Countries Of The World: China, Australia, The U.S.A., Nigeria, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Ecuador, El Salvador, France, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Armenia, Ukraine, Russia ...
Daily Activities Begin In at 8.30 A.M. And End At 16.30 P.M. Or At 13.00 For The 'B' Section (On Tuesd., Thurs., Frid). The Subjects We Study At School Are: Italian, English, (French And Spanish As Languages Of The European Citizenship, Being Learned Later At The Lower Secondary Schools), Mathematics, Sciences, History, Citizenship And Constitution, Geography, I.C.T., Art, Music, Physical Education, Religion. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Afternoons We have Laboratory Activities in Which We Can Learn To Express Our Creativity, Develope And Reinforce English Language, Plurilingualism, Communication, Make Video Conferences, Work On European And International Projects, Acquiring Awareness And Deepen Methods For Studying and Learning: E.G. The C.L.I.L * Content And Language Integrated Learning...
In Our School There Are Four Administrative Offices, A Rainbow Room, A Comenius Regio Laboratory For Media-Audio-Video Productions, A Library, A Laboratory Of Informatics, A Canteen With A Kitchen And Two Dining Rooms, One Gymnasium Room Serving Also As A Multifunctional And Theatre Space, 7 Bathrooms.
