Los alumnos junto con sus profesoras de Ciencias han hecho trabajos para conmemorar el 140 aniversario de Lise Meitner, científica que con sus investigaciones y publicaciones contribuyó al avance de la ciencia
The students along with their science teachers have done work to commemorate the 140th anniversary of Lise Meitner, a scientist who with her research and publications contributed to the advancement of science.

Hoy conmemoramos el 140 aniversario del nacimiento de Lise Meitner, 2ª mujer que obtuvo el doctorado en Física por la Universidad de Viena y 1ª mujer en conseguir ser profesora en una institución universitaria de Alemania.

Today, we commemorate the one hundred and fortieth anniversary of Lise Meitner’s birth. She was the second woman to get the Physics PhD at the University of Vienna and the first one becoming a Professor in a German University.

Es conocida por su investigación sobre la teoría atómica y la radiactividad. Junto con Otto Hahn descubrió un nuevo elemento, el protactinio, y la fisión nuclear.

She is known due to her research about the Atomic Theory and The Radioactivity. Together with Otto Hahn, she discovered a new element, the Protactinium, and the Nuclear Fision.

Le fue injustamente negado el premio nobel de Química de 1944, otorgado sólo a Otto Hahn.

She was unfairly rejected to get the Chemistry Nobel Prize in 1944 and Otto Hahn was awarded instead.

Publicó varios Libros y luchó toda su vida por el uso pacífico de la energía atómica.

She published several books and fought for a pacific use of the atomic energy during her whole life.
