Film Description (Contents, Format): Realizing that our questionnaire was limited mostly to cognitive results, this group will now study emotions.

Focus: Interview (Students), emotions of students (people and migrants),

Questions like  ”What does home mean to you”, “Do you miss your relatives?”

    +HELP

FilmTeam: Questionnaire more useful for school material, good: new emotional side

    Production Plan:

    Pre-Production: Preparing callsheets

    Coordination between teachers

    Test videos

Next meeting in Germany: Interviewing students

    Film Description (Content, Format)

    Real story about Andreea

    Production Plan

We will deal with Andreea’s story in two ways: Her real story and a fictional one will be the focus of our short video. We will get more real material (Interview with A., raw material with her – being alone at Bacau, reading out her portrait in different languages). Then we will transcribe interviews and translate them.

During the meeting in Darmstadt, we will film the fictional story.

    Film Description (Content, Format)

Polish people in Istanbul, Adampol, observe the similarities and differences between people (cultural     changes)

    Production Plan

Preproduction: Polish team will provide material, get in touch with people they are going to interview (leaders of communities, priests)

Polish will film places in Poland (memories + pictures) which were important to those immigrants. Then share and observe Turkish people in Poland.

Production steps defined by Berran (up to meeting in April 17):

1.Historical background info by Polish team (The history of the settlement in Adampol)

2.Looking for documents and photos by Polish team

    3.Questions by Polish team

4.Sharing of the info and materials - Final determination of questions

5.Getting in touch with people in Adampol for interviews (by Turkish team)

6.Interviews with Polish people in Adampol (by Turkish team) - Interviews with leaders like priest.

7.Get a shootage of Polish festivals, celebrations. Gathering photos and preparing a slide show of photos. (by Turkish team)

8.Finalizing any gathered information into a statistical report, sharing with the Polish team

9.Make a show of respective places of interviewed Polish people.

10.Look for Turkish people in Poland in order to point out the adaptational differences (by Polish team)

11.Put all this into a film (by Polish team)

(Remark: This main idea of our old SP5 will be integrated into this project)

    Film Description (Content, Format)

This group worked out several ideas and needs to decide:

Tree with branches like politics, languages…

    Comparison of history

    Interviews (living history) Stories???

    Film the family

Old vs. young people (same home)

    Production Plan

    Not clear at the moment;

Needs to be discussed in Agde

    Film Description (Content, Format)

Video clips dealing with UK immigration from different points of view

    • stories or sketches based on the results of the interviews
    • interviews

    Production Plan

    1. We will conduct interviews on video and bring them to the teacher meeting in Agde

    • upload interview questions to E-twinning so that students can learn from each other
    • students are free to choose which area they want to focus on with their questions (e.g. work experiences, friendships, cultural differences,…
    •  interviewee: anyone of interest (student, parent, relative, etc.) who lives or used to live in the UK. This person can be someone living in our town so that we can conduct live interviews or someone in the UK so that we will do online interviews
    • the advantage of this approach is that we have more opportunities for finding appropriate partners and gaining material
    • quality of video depends on equipment the students can use (smart phones or proper cameras)

    2. We decide in Agde how to continue until we meet again in Darmstadt  depending on the material (videos)

    • students use material to produce short stories or sketches
    • parts of the interviews could be used as well

    3. In Darmstadt we will produce the video for the final film.

    GLUE

The post-production will mostly be defined by a multinational, so called GLUE- Group which will deal on how to organize our five short films. In Barcelona, Spanish collegues (Ana Pomar and Sergio Vivas with Spanish pupils Arpita, Bushra, Maria and Judit) developed ideas and connected them. Some ideas were e.g. to take six young people from six countries living together, watching TV, all working at the same company called “Superglue”, or tracing developments from the past to the future; our film team judged it would be too obvious. It is still to be discussed. They are actually working out some comic activities and prepare students for this creative process in the second year.
