29.01.2016 - Friday
The second project meeting started on Friday in one conference room of the Gottlieb-Daimler-Schule 2 in Sindelfingen. After a greeting from the headmaster of the GDS 2 and the presentation of the program of the following week, we started to create posters in different base groups, which consisted of students from Spain, France and Germany. The students had to add their expectations of the following week on the posters.
After that we worked with TwinSpace and the German students showed their school to the Spanish and the French students. The first day ended with a typical German dinner.
30.01.2016 - Saturday
On the second day the students presented their project to the public in the "Breuningerland", a big shopping center.
31.01.2016 - Sunday
We had breakfast together at the school. The German students prepared it by themselves. After that breakfast we played a game, which should show us the procedure of adopting a law in the european union. At noon we visited the Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart and in the evening we ate dinner a restaurant.
01.02.2016 - Monday
We visited the Hoppenlau Schule of food and personal care in Stuttgart. It was a completely different school in comparsion with the Gottlieb-Daimler Schule 2.
Back in the GDS 2, the German students showed the Spanisch and French students, how to work with a Raspberry and the programming language "Python".
02.02.2016- Tuesday
In order to not to forget what we have learned at Monday, the base groups had the task to create videos. After that we had a working session with the Raspberry again. At Tuesday we learned more about programming.
In the evening the students cooked typical German and Swabian food together.
03.02.2016 - Wednesday
On Wednesday we learned much about stepper motors and how to control them. Furthermore the students learned more about the GPIO-Pins on the Raspberry.
04.02.2016 - Thursday
On the last day of the project meeting in Sindelfingen, we visited the education center of the Mercedes-Benz plant in Sindelfingen. We got a guided tour through the education center. At the noon we had a last working session with the Raspberry and made a last video about that. Then the headmaster of the GDS 2 handed every student a certificate and at the end we took some photos.
