Spanish Short Term Exchange

  • From April 8 to 14.2018 takes place in Lugo the first short exchange of  the project. 

    PROGRAM

    Sunday April 8: Reception

    - Arrival at the airport:  9:00 p.m. and at the city of Lugo at 10:30 p.m. or 10:45 p.m.
    - Meeting with families

    Monday, April 9Host day

    - Reception in the institute with the director at 9.35
    -The Spanish students make a brief presentation of Lugo
    -Visit to the city center: interpretation center of La Muralla at 11.00, reception at the town hall at 12 and entrance to the cathedral
    -Assistance to Bac 2 students' graduation speeches in the assembly hall at 13:25
    -Free time with families

    Tuesday 10: Cultural visit to La Coruña

    -Exit the bus from the institute at 9.35
    -Entrance to Domus at 11 o'clock
    -Visit to the Hercules Tower at 13 o'clock
    -Free time to eat and shop
    -Return to Lugo at 5:00 p.m.

    Wednesday 11: Conference on coexistence

    - Presentation of reports with the results of the interviews carried out by the students of the long exchange and team-work on what school coexistence means - Library 08:45
    - Dramatization about emotional education - Library 09:25
    - Conference about school coexistence and emotional education - Library 10:25
    BREAK
    - Presentation about the Camino de Santiago de Compostela
    - Visit to the Cathedral Tower and the center of interpretation of Camino de Santiago.
    -Free time with families

    Thursday 12: Cultural visit to Santiago

    - Bus leaving the school at 8.45
    -Walking on the Way from Monte do Gozo (if the weather permits) to the Plaza del Obradoiro, visit to the Cathedral. If it could not be done, the alternative would be to visit Plaza del Obradoiro, the Cathedral and the Museo do Pobo Galego (12:00).
    13:00 Free time to eat
    -Visit to the Parliament of Galicia at 4pm. Duration: one hour and a half
    -About 17.30 leaving towards Lugo

    Friday the 13th

    8.45 -Teaching Swedish studentes about Galician language by Spanish students - School library
    09:35 - Team work about the meaning of school coexistence. Results presentation.
    10:25 - Project logo presentation
    11:15 - Break
    11:45 - Food festival: typical Swedish and Spanish / Galician products. School canteen
    12:35 - Visit to the Domus do Mitreo and the Provincial Museum
    -Free afternoon

    Saturday 14

    Return to Sweden.
