    JUSTIFICATION:

We met and started to collaborate in eTwinning as Twinspace has been an ideal platform for communication, collaboration and disseminating results. Teachers and pupils involved in the project continue to use it. The huge number of results generated through Twinspace add significant value to our project. Twinspace continues to add to the fantastic synergy created within our partnership.

    CONTEXT:

Our project “We are European, we are Equal” has been carried out between three partners from Greece, Italy and Spain. Partner schools have worked together in mixed groups to accomplish many joint activities. Partners have not just been recipients of information, they have interacted and work collaboratively in activities the have resulted in tangible outcomes. The work has been equally shared as partners agree on equal tasks for all.

    RESULTS:

Teachers work collaboratively to establish the aims, objectives, content, activities and final results expected for the project. This work was guided by a core document in Twinspace and finalized during our first short-term staff training event in Spain. We believe that we have our Twinspace displays clear evidence of our project development.

    IMPACT:

The impact that the project has had in the school, for our pupils and for us as teachers has been overwhelming. One of the most positive effects has been the internationalization of our school and the ability to work in a synergy of networks with our partners at a European level. For pupils, the impact can be seen in the variety of quality results produced collaboratively, in the improvement of their digital and multilingual skills as shown in their improved tests results, and also in their communication skills. For teachers, the project has had a tremendous impact as it has resulted in methodological changes. Thanks to the collaborative research on key competences at European level, teachers have incorporated the use of innovative pedagogy such as PBL (Project Based Learning) methods.
