The purpose of the project is to bridge the gap between far-away countries, and to bridge geographical distances, virtually. Students will gain confidence to speak foreign languages and get the chance to see the value of knowing languages. The project aims at familiarizing students with foreign cultures and students in other countries. Students will make presentations or videos about their countries, home towns and schools, and exchange them over twinspace. The main focus is on speaking English realtime - over the Internet, using platforms like Skype. Students will speak to other schools, ask their peers questions, and connect with them via Skype, Google, etc. They will have pen-pals, and exchange communication via mail, chats, and even regular mail.
