Jelgava secondary school of Technologies is with a history of almost 100 years. Besides being a classical grammar school, for 7 years we have already been running a special curriculum to train future engineers and ICT specialists. Both programmes are organized in collaboration with the local university. There are also possibilities to obtain a certificate in CNC machine programming. Because of the social and economic situation, we have many students from families, where some parents have left for work in another country, from divorced families and also students with difficult social background- therefore we also have a social worker and a psychologist in our school. We are 61 teacher at our school. Some of them have part-time job at our school. There are 593 students, both genders and their age is 7 to 19.
