Christmas in Greece
At Christmas we decorate a Christmas tree and children sing Christmas carols. People give money and sweets to the children.
At Christmas dinner we eat roast turkey and sometimes roast pork with potatoes.
Santa Claus brings the presents on New Year's Eve. He puts them under the Christmas tree.
After opening the presents we cut a sweet cake called 'Vasilopita'. In the Vasilopita there is a coin. The person who gets the coin in his/her cake piece is considered to be the lucky person for the new year.
