Building the project team

Setting up partnership of schools through eTwinning platform.

Planning the idea of the project, its possible range and a title; discussing the space for presenting project outcomes, form of communication between teachers as well as the way of students` collaboration.

Building the project team – step 2

„Give a chance to the beast” registration on eTwinning platform by founders. Adding partners from other countries. Creating project teams among colleagues in project schools.

Creating project blog; invitation to access for posting on the blog.

Life is great adventure

Prepare  some kind of board game about our city (paper one) and send to each other with rules to game.

Never stop learning

We could see different editions of the book (i.e. the disney one or the traditional one e.t.c) or we could even exchange the book each partner will read so as to find similarities an differences between the books of each country. We will prepare „Beauty and the beast” dictionary in our national language.

After reading we could create ‘’the beauty and the beast’’ corner in our classroom.

A Chipped Cup Can be Better Than a Perfect One

In the beginning we can vote: is “Beast” ugly and rude or not. Ask pupils why beast is ugly and rude. We will do the same after project work to show if kids change their mind.

The kids can create a together poster with adjectives (nice, ugly…) and picture (or draw of the character) that describe each character.

Perfection isn’t everything

Kids can draw each other. But for example kids from Poland draw kids from Greece. Than we can show that we see beautiful things in other person, than we even realise that we have. We prepare memory games for this step of work.

Dare to be Different

We can prepare something like Talent Show - kids can present what they can do special like: music, art, poem or story write.

Scype meeting Talent Show.

We could make Belle’s mirror as a craft and each child could use it i.e saying ‘’I see someone who is special in........’’ and we could make sth like an album.

Tea Heals All

We can invite parents or grandparent for tea time prepare by kids. For example during Christmas time. We can exchange recipes for nice and tasty cup of tea and try to use herbs from partners country.

Kindness kills cruelty

At first the Beast thinks he needs to keep Belle locked in her room in order to get her to agree to dine with him. But when he swallows his pride and politely asks for her company.

We can use kindness game - we can prepare a game from pupils to pupils.

Love is Stronger Than Hate

What would they do if they were Belle? – interview with kids.

What I have leart from this adventure.

We try to draw our own Beast and share with partners. Competition for the ugliest beast drawing.
