Planning the project

  • After writing our ideas on a shared document, we agreed about the following General Plan. Below you can find a brief description of our classes.

    Italy

In our school one class of 16 children will be involved in the project. The students are 9-10, in this class I teach English, Citizenship and PE. My colleague who teaches Religion will do some activities. In the project will be involved also the teacher who supports a disabled student. Some activities will be conducted in whole class tasks, but priority will be given to small groups by implemeting the cooperative learing. We would like to involve the whole school through shared activities ad their exhibition on the occasion of the party of the end of school year.

    Poland

Every year I want to involve different classes into eTwinning projects and give them chance to cooperate with foreign students. This year a group of 9 students 10-11 years old will take part in the project. They meet with me 3 times a week and we are going to devote some parts of our lessons to the project tasks. The group is quite varied. There's a boy who was born and raised in Ireland. There's also a boy who spent the last school year in Canada. The other students are really motivated and have never worked in any types of international projetcs before. We are going to present the project results to the whole school during assemblies, publish the materials on school's facebook profile and youtube.

    Portugal

For the last years, at Ferrer Correia schools, the Students that attend the Moral and Catholic Religious Education Class are used to participate in an eTwinning Project connected to the topics of the subject. This year, the Portuguese team is a mixture of 4 different classes (2 from the 5th grade, with 10 years old, and 2 from the 6th grade, with 11 years old). The 5th grade will work under the topic "Living Together as Equals" and the 6th Grade will work under the Topic "Dignity of Human Life". We will have the support of the English teacher, that will help in the preparation and correction of texts, introductions and other products that we will produce.
