High School of Genisea , which has about 125  students and a teacher staff of 20 including τhe Head, is situated 10 km from the town of Xanthi.  The school, situated in a 6 acres area, is intensely eco-conscious since there is a large garden full of ornamental and fruit plants in its yard.  The sports facilities complete the scenery.  In the past it used to have a leading role in the implementation of cultural and environmental projects as well as sports events.

 Its particularity lies in the multicultural composition of the town’s students and residents

So many nations, so many religions.  Local community consists of numerous nations and religions. It seems to be a global society which has to share with others their special character.

As pupils coming from agricultural families, they need to improve their skills in foreign languages, ICT and meet other practises of European schools. We need a change to exchange common and different subjects, teaching methods and techniques. Though this project the participants will enhance their social and communication skills. So, our school community needs other school communities as a vehicle for improvement in many fields. Such experiences have as result a better future for all members and a positive reaction to European schools net.
