HOGWARTS' SCHOOL YEAR

  • The course begins in Hogwarts. We are very glad to have so many students interested in learning magic and it's a proud to count with all of these Teachers of Magic, ready to make this year a magical year. 

    We are going to have five important subjects and an amazing final course dance to celebrate all your effort and great work. But first of all, we have to be selected to colaborate and create magic into one of our four houses: GRYFFINDOR, SLYTHERIN, HUFFLEPUFF and RAVENCLAW. 

    ​This is our syllabus for this course. Hope you enjoy it and learn a lot. Your magical teachers can complete it with all the activities, ideas and crafts that they consider appropiate.

    ·         First quarter

         OCTOBER

         o   Arrival to Hogwarts PRESENTATION. The Sorting Hat will assigne to each boy and girl of the class a House of the 4 existing at Hogwarts: GRYFFINDOR, HUFFLEPUFF, RAVENCLAW AND SLYTHERIN. In this way, each participating class will be divided into 4 groups, each belonging to a House. Each group will make a presentation that we may know a little better to the rest of the participating schools. This presentation can be a video, a photo with an explanatory text... each one as you want depending on your imagination.

    ​        NOVEMBER

         o   CLASS of fantastic CREATURES: Every house will create a pet so that represent them. It may be a drawing, a craft... Then there will be a selective process to choose the best pet of the class or school, that will be share in a PAGE created for this purpose.

         DECEMBER

    • The families and the rest of the participating schools can vote by which consider the best pet of each House and in the end, based on those votes, will select the 4 pets, one for each House, who will represent them.

    ·         Second quarter

          JANUARY - 15th FEBRUARY   

         o   POTIONS class: We will exchange simple recipes of our own countries, can be dishes, drinks... that can be done in the classroom. Other schools may develop them and do tastings. We will post photos and families and participants can vote for one that best appearance have, most liked...

         16th FEBRUARY - 31th MARCH

         o   HERBOLOGY class: We will make an exchange of seeds of medicinal plants, if its possible, to carry out a small vegetable garden in every school. Each House will take care of theirs, they will plant them, will water and care.

    ·         Third quarter

        APRIL

         o   Class of TRANFORMATION: each classroom or school will launch a simple challenge to each other that consist in transforming any common element in something else. For example, turn a cardboard box into a boat, transforming a few cartons of milk in an animal... something feasible that allows to put into play the imagination and creativity of our students.

    ​       MAY

         o   QUIDDITCH class: We can exchange traditional games of our own country, invent some game quidditch-related so that the rest of schools can play them...

        JUNE

        o   FINAL COURSE DANCE: The course is completed in Hogwarts and therefore we can exchange some simple dance of our country, the rest of participating schools can practice them and make their own final course dance into their particular Hogwarts.
