PROGRAMME

Friday 16/3/2018

Arrival time at 19:45.  Greek students welcome their partners at the airport and either take them to a place near our school or stay at the airport for a welcome dinner. ( dinner is prepared from the Greek families). Around 22:00  German and Greek students leave for their homes.

Saturday 17/3/2018

Host families are responsible for their German guests

Sunday 18/3/2018

Host families are responsible for their German guests (we will be collecting material for the project  and  we will. take interviews from people about the film) .

Monday 19/3/2018

German students come to school with their Greek partners and with the escort of the teachers they visit the Historical Museum or the Archaeological one as well as the Knossos Palace. Early in the afternoon students return to school and leave.

Tuesday 20/3/2018

Both Greek and Germann students follow the school program .

Wednesday 21/3/2018

The first two hours students attend classes and take part in Eratosthenes’s experiment during which they will have the chance to calculate the Earth’s radius and then they will go on foot to the coastal side of the city where the Greek teachers, under the leadership of the Headmaster. The students will have organized games and will have prepared some street food with a local taste. (There will be no cost for the guests since brunch will be offered by the school.)

Thursday 22/3/2018

A visit to the town centre of the city along with a guided tour with tablets is organized, a visit to the Town Hall and probably a visit to a technological institution.  Students return to school  and leave on their own.

Friday 23/3/2018

German students are brought to the airport by the Greek families. Return flight to Germany.
