TTLA1 - PORTUGAL

Here are the works done by the Portuguese students.

This work is about the children who were sold / given away /given for adoption mostly to the American soldiers who were working here in the island. For some people the living conditions were so bad that doing this was the way out for their survival. 

PS - Part of the video has an interview in Portuguese and here in the island, while presenting the work, it had subtitles in English. Unfortunately this one does not have them as they were in a different file, which I cannot add here. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Migrants in our School

This is a Prezi work where some of our students who experienced being a migrant, talk about their own experience or just say a few things about themselves.

 

This was our dance routine and "Immigration song" performed by the Portuguese group to welcome their peers.
