NAME OF THE PROJECT :
OUR CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE,OUR FUTURE IS OUR CHILDREN
Aim of the Project: Children Rights are the declaration that is acknowledged by the countries worldwide. The fundamental objective of this written statement is to accord rights to children and ensure the protection of these rights.
Within the scope of this project, we are planning to enlighten children, who bear the hopes for our future, regarding their rights. What is being targeted is the researching, acknowledgement, and the adaptation and internalization of children’s rights, along with the aim of supporting their sense of wonder.
Supervision and protection of children rights underlines a better and livable word, which can primarily be provided by considering every child a very valuable being, and with proper education. This way, our children will grow up to be healthy and educated individuals with the skill of self-expression.
Our project promotes the teaching of children rights.
Objectives:
1-Promoting the teaching of children rights.
2-Raising self-awareness regarding children rights.
3-Raising individuals who are self-conscious of their own rights, and also of the others’.
4- Raising individuals with the skills of problem solving and critical thinking.
5-In accordance with the previous points made, giving individuals the required sensitiveness to stand up against discrimination, bullying and to have a respect for others’ rights. This education also includes awareness about educational rights and free speech.
Working Process
With our partners , we are planning to support suitable conditions to be able to use the rights in children rights agreement , providing children with applications the children might use in educational activities, and thus, aiming to raise a generation that is rather respectful to their rights.

OCTOBER |
Children are going to be adopted the idea of searching the meanings of their names and how they are named after and they are going to feel more valuable by their names.
ACTIVITY : I HAVE A NAME AND AN IDENTITY
Giving the message: Each kid is different, yet with together, we’re whole.
Each kid will draw pictures by choosing a symbol such as a flower, a cloud, a note…etc. by writing their names on them and these are going to be collected in a vase and turned out to be posters and shared in the classrooms.

"I have my own ideas, and I can express independently and all children have this right."
ACTIVITY: I EXIST WITH MY RIGHTS
Each kid chooses the rights from the children rights agreement and make a poster.
These should include;
- Title of Children Rights
- The text of the item they have chosen
- A photo, picture, newspaper or comics representing this right

DECEMBER |
The importance of ‘why the children rights are prepared juristically as a separate human right within December the 10th World Human Rights Day’ should be explained.
"Children cannot be employed for any kind of dangerous jobs that damage their education and for the reasons of economic exploitation."
Each child has their very own education rights and equal opportunities. Girls are forced for work or for early marriage ,while boys are forced to work at an early age, for that reason they are unable to go to school. Their education right is infringed.
ACTIVITY1: CHILD LABOR WITH PHOTOS
Photos about the Child Labor will be collected and a video will be arranged.
ACTIVITY 2: SCHOOL -MAPPING,SENDING NEW YEAR CARDS

JANUARY |
"Education is a fundamental right and every child has this right."
ACTIVITY: LET’S MAKE AN INTERVIEW
A question will be defined and students will make an interview with their teachers and record a video.

FEBRUARY |
Every child has right to be loved and cared within the love month. A child needs to be grown in a happy ,insightful and warm family atmosphere in order to develop his/her personality concordantly and completely.
‘Do our families restrict our right just because they love us?’ , ‘What kind of rights are restricted?’ should be asked to the students.
ACTIVITY: LOVE TREE
Students cut out heart shapes in different sizes, write their names on the shapes and arrange a love tree using the hearts.

MARCH |
Within the month of equality, each kid has the right to be free
ACTIVITY: MAKING MASKS
Mask is a overreaction motive to race discrimination which was in existence in the past. Essentially, mask is meant to emphasize that everyone is equal.
Children will make the mask that they want and photos and videos will be taken.

APRIL |
"Each child has a right to have some time for a cultural activity"
ACTIVITY: GAME FAIR
Games which are aimed at teaching children rights should be played.
The games about children rights , which UNICEF oriented plays can be inspirational or any child game can be played .

In order to raise the awareness of the children, newly joined schools will utter some preliminary defined words regarding the protection of children rights. These will be recorded.
These videos will be collected together by the co- founders therefore awareness concerning child rights will be constituted

THE EXPECTED RESULTS:
- To support their creative and critical thinking ability and to provide them to produce, by taking each child’s specific features into consideration.
- To provide them with team work and in this process, they should be respectful to each other.
- To provide a support that they can become an individual person who embraces universal values.
- To raise a generation that knows their rights, respecting and using them.
- To raise a person that is patient, opened minded, and a person who can show his love.
- To provide the students to get an experience in the classroom, school and other places.
- Make them act according to the roles in their responsibility as a democratic citizen.
