”Grigore Moisil” Primary and Lower Secondary School in situated în Galați, in the south-east of Romania.

Galați is a nice city on the left bank of the Danube.

We cannot exactly say that everything we do is absolutely closely interconnected with the Danube but the river plays a major role in our lives.  This is why our city coat of arms shows two  fish and a boat.

Moreover,  the city is also called, The City of Linden Trees because of the many linden trees that have been planted during the years all over the city.  Some of them are a few hundred years old. You can imagine the scenery when they are in blossom!

Our motto is ”A school for everyone”.

This means that our team wants to offer equals chances to all students.Our logo is represented by a pyramid that symbolises climbing, in stages, towards the peaks of knowledge.

Our students are always enthusiastic and eager to take part in all the activities that we organize here, in our school.
