We aim at improving the following skills for our students:
-cinema culture: they will study the History of the cinema from the beginning to nowadays, the various genres, and famous editors and actresses through times.. 
-media education: they will learn to analyze a movie, beyond the obvious and learn all the specific vocabulary of picture analysis and criticism. 
-film making: they will be made aware of how the cinema machine works, how a film is made and produced.
-collaboration: they will work together in mixed teams and write round-robin articles 
-writing: by writing articles, they will develop the language and linguistic skills in English. 
-ICT: working on an online magazine will allow them to improve their ICT skills.

Each school will work on each magazine. Work will be shared after discussion between partners to know who starts what. Students will form mixed teams Each month will be dedicated to a magazine issue:

-September: ice-breaking activities.
-October: the History of Cinema (from its invention to nowadays)
-November: Film-making (how is a movie made and produced?)
-December to April:
Movie study : focus on a few movies grouped by genre, study of the history of the genre, famous editors and actors involved in the movies. 
-May/June: Evaluation and dissemination

We want to create an online magazine on Madmagz, which will be shared on a public twinspace. 
We expect our students to improve their artistic culture, learn more about their partners and learn to collaborate online thanks to modern ICT tools.
