Our school is Istituto Comprensivo Laura Lanza Baronessa di Carini. It is a comprehensive school from nursery to low secondary, with pupils from 3 to 14 years old. Our school lies in Carini, a small village near Palermo, Sicily. The school project is based on Innovation and new technologies, on lab work and project based learning. The school is dedicated to the Baroness of Carini, portrayed in the image below on the main entrance wall of the Institute. To the baroness, who lived in Carini in the 16th century, an ancient  famous historical legend is linked
