First of all, thanks to all 10 members forming the 5 international teams by pupils from Austria (pic) and Serbia (pic) who participated in this endavour besides their normal busy schedules! It was an experiment - our first eTwinning project - after all and we learned a lot:
- Planning: While finding the initial set of pupils was easy, grouping them and getting to work is not - start early in the year, double the planned times! See our plans for proof ;)
- Project management vs supervision: While the first was underestimated, as we needed much more reminding, clarification, communication and explaining on the way - the second quickly vanished, as the pupils collaborated with various tools after the initial setup skype groups were established (with the teachers as observers).
- Show off: Find the time to let the project participants communicate their experiences and results in class whenever possible!
- Last but not least: Be patient ... and kind!
