ARRANGEMENTS, RULES, QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROJECT

  • WORK PROCESS:

    1. Teachers introducing students to Twin Space – teaching them the tools;  a) Ss make their profiles, b) groups and students introduce themselves on one common page in a way they want (e.g. Voky, text information, photo collage, in group or individually), c) in “Material” part – photos or videos from schools (folders “WHO WE ARE”), d) students learn to use Forum and chat; deadline - till 10th May 2017;
    2. Each country makes a  PPT presentation about holidays/festivals/special days in their country (till 15th May); teachers uses the presentations during a lesson with the group, discussion follows in the classroom; till 20th May 2017;
    3. Groups for particular months are created: 2 students from each country to each month, write their names in a table on a page created for the month (10 or 12 “month pages”) and make the page; Ss themselves decide on the image/form of the page, communication during work: chat, email, can even be Facebook; from 10th May till 5th June; some students will work in more than one group; kindergarten kids just send drawings or photos of events in their kindergarten etc. to every month;
    4. Schools prepare ART MATERIAL (drawings, paintings etc.) about their festivals to send to every partner school - to use on  notceboards about the project in partner schools, and then maybe on paper calendars - from 10th May to 10th June. Then teachers send the materials to partner schools (students prepare the parcels).
    5.  Teachers decide on the form of the whole calendar or  several calendars (e.g. paper calendars at schools) when pages are ready (e.g. an e-book, a poster etc., students' opinions are also taken into consideration) ; students choose what to place in the calendar for the specific month and choose 2 most active students in the group to finish the work – send the material to one chosen teacher or two students from 1 country (he/they will make the rest); till 15th June
    6. Ss should use THEIR  OWN material: photos, drawings, pictures, etc. If they use material taken from other sources (books, internet), then the source should be indicated.
    7. Teachers are obliged to motivating students to work on Twin Space – help with getting to know the tools on Twin Space and others -  and to fulfill the project tasks on time; in case of delay teachers should inform others about new deadline when the task will be done – in project Journal.
    8. Teachers will apply for the Quality Label in their countries in June if the project appears to be good and aims achieved – best before end of June (before deadline for this school year).
