UNITE OUR CITIES AND ENJOY CULTURAL DIVERSITY

The main objective of this project is that secondary students share their knowledge of the cultural, artistic and natural heritage of their respective cities with other European students, of the same age and educational level, using new technologies and English as a target language . The result of this project is the creation of a blog on the heritage of the partner schools' cities. This project is divided into three parts: 1. The students presentation and their schools. 2. The study of the heritage of our cities 3. A game: the patrimonial compatibility test. This project requires a fluid contact among the students because they must search and select information about the highlights of their cities, they must elaborate reports and share them through twinspace. The teachers will review the elaborated projects as well as the final documents to avoid mistakes. The partners schools decide about which the most interesting aspects of heritage are. Each school may work about different issues but every one should present their conclusions through presentations, videos, articles, padlets or prints. All the projects must be original materials to share on the blog. The partners can use any of the following means, padlet, emails or twinspace to make the collaborative work. To conclude the project, the students will elaborate a battery of questions about aspects of their cities' heritage. This test will have to be solved by partners, through videoconference or on line. This is really a game. The students could check by themselves their degree of knowledge about the studied aspects.
