  • Easter Cards Exchange

    The pupils make cards with Easter wishes in English using partner's students names. It will be taken a photo of the cards with children and a short video saying “Happy Easter” both in English and mother language. Next, the cards will be sent by post to partner's school and distributed to partner's students. Here will be taken also a photo of received cards with children who received them and the video saying “Thank you” both in English and mother language.
    I'm sure that pupils will be very happy with seeing their names on the cards made by pupils from foreign country :)

    Aims

    The general aim is to get to know students from another country – their school, their class.
    By making and exchanging Easter cards students will send Easter wishes, practice the foreign language (English) in real-life situations.

    Work process

    Stages:

    1) Taking a photo of school with a short description where the school is (city/ town, country), how many pupils and teachers are there.

    2) Taking a photo of children who are taking part in the project with a shot description: school, class number, number of boys and girls

    3) Making the cards: here partners send the list of their students' names and delivery address  in Word or PDF document.
    4) taking a photo of children with the cards

    5) making a short video with Easter wishes both in English and mother language

    6) sending the cards to partner's school by post
    7) taking a photo of the cards from partner's children

    8) making a short video with “Thank you” both English and mother language

    9) creation shared padlet/ presentation of our school and groups of pupils taking part in.

    10) creation shared padlets/ presentations with our photos before and after receiving cards.

    11 ) creation one film/ presentation with all wishes and thank you together.

    12) organizing the live event between partners to say “hello” with children.

    13) creation EASTER DICTIONARY in different languages

    14) making a short quizzes (for kindergarten and primary schools) with Easter vocabulary- maybe we play the quiz together in event live between classes)

    Expected results

    Hand made Easter cards. Shared presentation/padlet  of our schools and classes. Shared padlets with videos with wishes and thank you. Shared padlet/ presentation of photos of the cards and children, Easter dictionary in different languages. All works will be uploaded on the Twinspace.
