Estonia 2017

    Official start of the project

    October 2017

In October, the technology teacher Priit and arts teacher Ive disseminated the knowledge they had aquired previously in Spark MakerLab. In a joint lesson of physics (sound, waves, electromagnetism) and technology, self-made loudspeakers were made by 7th to 9th graders. Now how does the electrical current move the membrane of a loudspeaker?

    November 2017

In November, the pupils participated in a waste reduction quiz and campaign. They made posters on different types of waste and their disposal and reuse in the scince classes. With the help of art teacher and different class teachers, very nice, comfortable and beautiful (one might even say artistic) chairs were made so pupils can have a rest during their brakes. And parts of worn out technology – the old car tyres – now serve as pieces of applied art.

    December 2017

In December science and technology teachers guided teachers through a process of making and maintaining an aviary feeding station. With the help of art teacher pupils decorated the ERASMUS corner.
