    FINLAND

Greetings from Finland from Nopankylä School!

Our school is a Primary school in municipality of Ilmajoki. We have got pre-schoolers and pupils from grades 1-6, altogether 23. We have got two teachers; one is working with pre-schoolers and grades 1-2 and the other with pupils fron grades 3-6. Really they work in both of our classrooms.

Our school is situated in Southern  Ostrobothnia, which is our province. If we want to visit our capital Helsinki, we have to drive for 360 kilometers. If we want to feel the seewater in Gulf of Bothnia, that is a part of Baltic Sea, we have to drive for 65 kilometers. If you find towns like Kurikka, Seinäjoki and Vaasa from the map, they are the closest towns we have.

What does nature means to me?
