Questions of the lesson

-In our school we have the School Parliament and we elect the President of the so called Gymnasia Democratic Republic (GDR). Besides we have the School Council. We have elections every school year. In the Parliament every class community have their representatives.

-Do you have any of such school boards? Who do they consist of and how do they work?

-In our Gymnasia we have a set of rules called the Charter of Gymnasia. According to it pupils have not only rights but also a lot of responsibilities. Do you have anything like that?

-Who creates the rules in your school? Can they be changed? If so, how?

-What happens when pupils don't follow the rules?

- In the film about your school, which you sent to us, we saw the School Zoo. Who organized it and who takes care of the animals? We don't have it in our school but we would like to. Can you share your experience?

-We also want to create a relaxation area for pupils in our school where we could relax during breaks or just stay in a quiet place and revise for lessons. IN the corridors and classrooms it's always noisy. Do you have such a place in your school?

-Last year we cooperated in an e-Twinning project with Portugal. The teachers and pupils of that school mostly go to school by bicycles. It's not usual in our city. But we have the idea to ask our school council to arrange parking for bicycles and then it can become possible to ride a bike to school. What do you think of it? Do you have such an experience?

-Are your parents involved in educational process in your school? If yes, how?

-Do you have compulsory and optional subjects in your school or all subjects are compulsory?

-Democracy is effective when everybody takes part. Who decides on your time-table? Can pupils decide which lessons and when are better to be in your time-table or can you choose the teacher?

-Do you wear a school uniform. Do you think it's a good idea?

-Does everyone feel safe in your school? Do you have any guard system?

-Do you experience any cases of bulling at school and what do you do to prevent it?
