    Main objectives of the Project

    The main objective of the project is to equalize opportunities for those students who are disadvantaged because of  their disability or dysfunction and  to eliminate obstacles and stereotypes associated with the perception of dysfunction and disability. We also want to  sensitize young people on multilingualism, and emphasize foreign languages as a key to increase their competences. Moreover, the essential objective of the project is to strengthen institutional cooperation between our schools Puerto del Rosario and Gimnazjum nr 3. We perceive our   project as a chance for students ( including those with disabilities) to overcome barriers in  learning and  preventing  social exclusion.

    Detailed objectives

    • to raise awareness of the need to learn foreign languages
    • providing incentives for young people to learn foreign languages,
    • promoting communication through sign language, supporting all forms of education in this field,
    • to try to eliminate communication barriers restricting the participation of deaf and hard of hearing in the social and economic life,
    • to develop the ability of perceiving a global perspective by analyzing the current problems of the world of disability,
    • to help people with hearing loss in adapting to life in the modern world,
    • to stimulate students' empathy towards diversity and people with disabilities,
    • to improve critical thinking skills and motivating students to take the initiative in action,
    • to support media competence and skills of communication and exchange of information through the use of modern information technology,
    • to develop teamwork skills (also in an international environment)
    • to implement the  elements of learning through play by working with their peers representing different national culture,
    • to forge links between the partners, to exchange experiences of both students and teachers,
    • to raise awareness and identity and national values ​​among students,
    •to overcome and eliminate cultural stereotypes and those associated with disability
