The 9th grade class of the comprehensive school Ückendorf in Gelsenkirchen, Germany attended a workshop on climate change at the Energy Lab of the Science Park (Wissenschaftspark) in Gelsenkirchen.
We worked on two basic topics:
1) The green house effect: climate change and how to deal with it
2) Fuel cells: the cars of the future
Here are some impressions:

First, there was an introduction on the two topics. Then we went straight to work. Group 1 did experiments on the greenhouse effect with temperature measurements.

Group 2 built their own cars with a fuel cell and had the cars race against each other.
