Common work: the games from the past.

  • Games from Poland:

    Szpak (pronounced as shpack):

You need: two sticks (one has to be longer than the other)

Number of players: 3 to 5

    Rules:

You start with drawing a line – it’s called a border. One participant stands on the line with the longer stick in his/her hand. This participant has to hit the shorter stick with the longer stick as hard as he/she can (like in baseball). The shorter stick should fly for a long distance and then fall down. All the participants have to run towards the place where the stick lies. The first person who catches the shorter stick is the winner and is thenext person who stands on the line and hits the stick.

Number of players: the more the better (not less than 6)

    Rules:

You have to divide into 3 or more groups with at least 2 participants in each. One group is the group of ESCAPERS and the other groups are SEARCHERS. The escapers set of as the first. They choose the ROUTE and follow it, marking their way with arrows drawn with chalk. The arrows shouldn’t be to close and should be drawn in different places (on the ground, on building’s walls, on the trees etc.). Between the arrows they have to put some tasks for other groups – the tasks are to help the searchers find the TARGET. The target is the place where the escapers will be waiting. The searchers set off about 20 minutes after the escapers. They follow the route marked by the escapers and do the tasks in order to get some hints about the target where escapers are waiting. The first group who finds the escapers is the winner.

    Games from Bulgaria:

    We played:

    King - Portalyu

This is one of the favorite children's games. To be more fun is nice to have at least 6-7 children. Two stand against each other, grab your hands and raise them, making "gate" to each other. Other children pass one after another through the "gate" while singing the song:
"My king-Portalyu, open gates that will leave the royal army.
Open, close, only one leave. Spoon, bowl, tiganche, kapanche. " While are listed
     "Scoop,
dish tiganche, kapanche 'hands go up and down as" zatvyaryat "players. Which fall into "the trap" finally must choose which team to pass.
This is repeated until all children are allocated.
Then catch the two teams one behind the other and began to pull away, the winner is the team that manages to pull the other and knocking players to the ground.

    Game "pots"
Game participants stand in two rounds. Players from the outer circle are right - they are sellers, players from the inner circle are squatting - they are pots. Pre child is selected, which will be a buyer. It stops in front of the players and asks:
    - For sale Are you potty?
    The requested answers:
    - I give it, bet it, but you do not give it!
The two hit hands and run outside the circle in opposite directions. The task of each runner is more to go around the circle and take the vacant seat. Whoever left without a place to run the game, ie becomes a buyer .

    Play "I run, run cloth"
Children rank and sit in a circle.
One of them toured with handkerchief outside the circle and sing
"I run, I run a towel, pulling her dog, Fido chasing her to me for a kilo of candy." He chose one of the children and put a towel behind it. Then rushes to run and chase him elected. If you catch him again he sits on the site. If the one who put the handkerchief, first go to the place and sit down, then the other child is wrong to place cloth.
