Viana do Castelo has the biggest natural Christmas tree in Europe, located in the center of the city and visible a long distance. It has 49 meters height and is adorned with thousands of coloured lamps. At the bottom, there is a giant Nativity scene.  In the background of the photo, we can see Santa Luzia temple.
