sdf to do the „foto marathon“
Dear friends,
we have agreed on doing a foto marathon with our students in order to have something to show and exhibit at our schools and the get the students „into the project “
A foto marathon follows certain rules, which I want to tell you once more (and especially for those colleagues involved who have not been at the meeting in Gelsenkirchen – yes, there may be one or two)
- The students work in groups of three or four (if there a five, because otherwise there would be someone left over – no problem)
- Each group has to be equipped with either a (good) digital camera or a mobile phone with a camera of at least 8 megapixel – something any relatively new mobile has.
- The students always have a fixed time for fulfilling the task (it is up to you, how much time you give them)
- They get the tasks one by one – after deadline for task one, they get task two with a new deadline, and so on
- The students may use anything that comes their way, may act out a situation, whatever, but they HAVE TO TAKE THE PHOTOS themselves – it is not allowed to use pics from the internet or any other source.
- The photographs then may and will be processed, worked on by any computer programme available – photoshop, GIMP, picasa, ……
- Each group has to deliver ONLY ONE pic per topic
The pics may be exhibited at school, we plan to let all the students and interested parents (and the teachers of course) choose from the groups’ photographs to get THE school’s pic for sending it to the partner institutions.
The chosen pics should be send to the partners either as .jpg files (as big as possible) separately or be put onto dropbox as jpg – I would suggest the present them within a powerpoint presentation put onto our dropbox as well.
So, have fun!
