SPRING

                                   Our Collaborative Poem                                                         for the International Day of Poetry                                                           on March 21st

 

Spring is nice because there is no ice.                                                         Croatia 

Sun shines on the sky and the birds happily fly.

 

Spring has sun so children have fun!

Everything is full of colours like the rainbow after rain,

Spring is a season with lot of game.

 

The air is full of magic and our gardens, too                                                Germany

snowdrops, daffodils, hyacinths and tulips

in red, white, yellow and blue.

Birds are beginning to sing,

Yes, we are sure - now it's spring.

 

After winter we met spring.                                                                   UKRAINE

Nice to see young leaves green!

Waiting summer soon to come

To have long holidays and fun!

 

Cold winter is going away                                                                      Greece

The sun shines brightly today

The flowers are colourful

And make our gardens beautiful

Afternoons are not yet dark

Children play happily now in the park.

Snowflakes are gone

and beautiful season has just begun.

​Lovely weather is asking you out

to hear its catchy sound.

​So LET'S GO and take a place

​Mother Nature is calling you to be her guest.

The snow is melting,

The sun is shining,

The flowers are blooming,

The ice is breaking.

It is warm and sunny

And it's very funny.
