Christmas traditions in comparison with the partner countries
- In Germany we have some special customs for example our traditional food, a Christmas tree and gifts.
- For us the most important thing of winter holidays is the Christmas evening, when we meet the whole family.
- We celebrate Christmas with the whole family.
- In Germany the main Christmas dates are the 24th,25th,26th of December.
- At home the Christmas tree is decorated with a chain of lights and many candles.
- At New Years Eve we do party, firework and we are eating and drinking.
- Yes, our town is decorated with many lights.
- We usually decorate our houses with lights, candles, a Christmas tree and some sweets.
- We normally leave up our Christmas decorations until january.
- It is common to buy/get some personal gifts, but it does not need to be expensive. We prefer personal gifts.

- In Germany we fell christmas is not too commercialized, it is the most beautiful feast for us. In our class, Hasan, Karahan and Caner celebrate christmas too. They also eat a duck at christmas evening.
