My school and my town/village

 

ABOUT PROJECT

The aim of our project is discovers history, present and future of place in we live, next development multicultural relations and friendly communication. The pupils will induct  own school, own activities. Comparing with partner ´s school  we get a new informations, findings about school ´s system, informations about history and present our village or town. Then the pupils will suggest to changes, which they will do in own town (when they will be adult).

AGE OF PUPILS:  11 – 15

SUBJECTS:    ICT, Geography, History, Foreign languages, Media education

TOOLS:  e-mail, Powerpoint, video, photography, chat

THE AIMS OF THE PROJECT: development communication and writening skills in a maternal and foreign language (videos, slideshow, articles), digital competence – can creativly do materials, say pupils about risks with using social sites and browsing internet, use ICT tools,  meet people from different country, create friendly relations, learn about habits, traditions and history of foreign countries, create plannes of future. Partner ´s schools will inform to mutual operation of project (every month via chat, disclosure materials in TwinSpace).

3. Characteristics of our school (your school) – subjects, research about favourite subjects (charts), december 2016
4. Characteristics of our country, our town (PRESENT – year 2016) - videos, slideshows, january 2017

5. The history of our town – historical research (slideshow, videos,  create a book of history, quizzes, competitions, february 2017

6. The habits and traditions of our town  (videos, photographies, pictures, etc.), march 2017

7. The idea about future of our town - we want better life (pictures, 3D models), april 2017

EXPECTED RESULTS

The participants of project  create slideshow about coopertion with partner ´s school. The pupils will speak to own school about new informations, friendships, culture of foreign country. They will try compare habits, traditions own town and town of partner ´s school. The pupils will better in ICT tool skills and skills of comunnication in foreign language.
