+ project

  • Formal information about our project.

    Short description

The main ideas of this project are (1) planning the activities with the pupils and (2) using creativity through the curricular subjects. To achieve these purposes, we are going to do class brainstorming, organize the project plan and work in pairs and groups both in the classroom and with project partners. To support the project each partner creates a class mediator (no limit for imagination) who helps the magic flow in every activity.

Keywords: music, body language, recycling, creativity, artistic expression, music, writing, cross curricular

    Aims

    1. To plan the activities in collaboration (teachers and pupils).

    2. To create a class mediator with recycled material.

    3. To promote interaction among the pupils.

    4. To push out pupils and teachers’ creativity in order to create more collaborative activities.

    Work process

The project will run from October 2016 to June 2017.

Teachers are going to do a pre-planning and the final plan will be done with pupils; they are going to be involved in planning and in the process work.

We intend to present a product every two months, average.

At the beginning, classes are going to present themselves and their schools using pictures, videos or drawings.

After that, they are going to create a class monitor who will speak through pupils’ voice to calm down the class whenever is needed, to give confidence to the class, to appreciate pupils’ work and to play with them.

The following activities are going to be decided with pupils. At this point, a videoconference is an option to share the best activities pupils came up in each class and to vote those they like most.

In teachers’ mind there are some activities just in case pupils’ suggestions are not feasible. For instance, collaborative drawing, collaborative story or poem and some kind of artwork or drama about the written work, common reading (pupils read the same book) and using Twitter, TwinSpace or Blog to write opinions about the reading. For some of the collaborative activities we would like to try pupils’ groups from different countries for collaboration. For others teamwork in classroom will be the main option.

All the partners are going to keep in touch through TwinSpace, e-mail and Facebook. Communication between partners is going to be regular (weekly) because it’s very important to feel the team close and ready to support others when we face problems to solve or happiness to share.

We are going to disseminate our project and products throughout the year (information on “Expected results” point).
