Ancient delights is a project about food. In human history, food is not only a mean of human survival but is linked to human existence in a variety of ways and rich customs. Primary nutritional species have been the unifying and cohesive factor of the human race. Nutritional items have lived through beliefs and traditions for centuries.

The cultivation of cereals, grapes and olive trees, as well as the exploitation of their products, have a special place in everyday life and economy from the ancient times to the present day. An entire world develops and revolves, either directly or indirectly, around bread, wine and oil: culinary, religion, customs and traditions, language, mythology, history, literature, medicine, painting, pottery, sculpture.
