PROJECT

  • About the project

The main objective is to collaborate with the focus on actual communication between our pupils. We will incorporate a written aspect through debates and the sharing of thoughts on specific topics chosen by the partners using forums in Twinspace. We will arrange Skype sessions for real-time “F2F” communication along the way when possible.

    Aims

To develop linguistic skills and communicative abilities in the English language.
To offer pupils an insight into different mind-sets, cultures, and traditions.
To promote cooperation inside and outside the classroom.
To incorporate ICT in a functional manner.

    Work process

Firstly, we will introduce ourselves and or schools via small videos and emaze-presentations.
Throughout the school year, the partners will take turns to choose and present topics for discussion. The pupils then research and discuss the topic in class before posting their thoughts and opinions in the forum. Pupils will then read, reflect and reply on each other’s thoughts and input. Each topic will be followed by a Skype session where the pupils get to elaborate on their ideas and thoughts and answer questions from the other pupils. Partners are welcome to create audiovisual materials relating to the different topics and post it in the forum or Twinspace folders. (Posters/Canva, infographics/easelly, pictures, padlets, Prezi etc.) We aim to include elements from arts class in certain topics.

    Expected results

Our pupils will attain new valuable knowledge about peers from different countries and cultures which will available on Twinspace. They will strengthen their language and communicative skills - written and verbal.
They will furthermore get to use their ICT-skills in a functional purposeful manner.
