A blog about the activities of Erasmus participants in Italy

The project participants left the Lithuanian airport on November 18th and arrived at the Italian airport in Bari.   

November 19 - students had the opportunity to enter the new home, get acquainted with families and the city of Bitonto.

November 20 - we drove to Castel Del Monte Castle, one of the most beautiful medieval buildings. In 1996 the castle was already included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. There were a lot of activities in this castle: some students were drawing, others were filming. We also visited the TRANI Cathedral.

November 21 - we went to school and painted on the walls (project logo), then the participants of the project traveled with their teachers to visit the Giuseppe De Nittis Museum. In the evening with pupils from different countries we continued filming, revealing various talents and abilities.

November 22 - working at school, later we traveled with teachers to the old town of Bitonto town, got acquainted with the mayor of the city, visited the cathedral and the national gallery, and in the evening we had a family and friends evening with national dishes.

November 23 - We went to Matera, we saw where famous films were filmed, one of them "The suffering of Christ." On that day, the students traveled a lot, looked around the area and had plenty of drawing lessons.

November 24 - We work again with the Project logo, then the children's rehearsal before the big performance in the Bitonto theater hall, and the event "Music: MatBuc unites cultures" crowned the evening.

 November 25 - the last day of the stay - all the participants of the program said goodbye to each other, arranged some presents for friends and relatives, and again to Bari airport, from which we flew to Lithuania. The stay was enriched and cheered on by its participants.
