A little bit of tradition...Portugal
In Portugal, traditionally at Easter, after masses and religious processions that go from house to house, guests eat what the owner of each house puts on the table to offer to the priest and those who accompany him:
easter almonds
A classic of Easter celebrations in Portugal with sugared almonds. The dried fruit is covered with successive layers of white sugar that end up with some bumps and holes. There are brown, black and sometimes chocolate varieties.
Almonds , more traditional, very colorful, sometimes fragrant, are known and consumed throughout the country at this time of year.
Easter sweets
The most famous is the Easter Folar, a kind of sweet bread with milk and honey stuffed with eggs boiled in the shell.
