The aim of the project is to allow students to expand their knowledge concerning trees in general, i.e. their vital role for environment, but mostly to go beyond these obvious issues, i.e. to find similarities in behaviour of trees in their societies and in functioning of humans in their communities. Here the core issue corresponds to psychological and sociological aspects of enriching one another with favourable and toxic substances sent through the generally understood roots. Here, the roots in terms of trees would represent literal meaning, however in terms of people these would be the intentions, actions and interactions. The final outcome is to plant trees by the students as a task that widens their horizons.
