    TOPIC: INTRODUCTION
We prepare for the project: students learn about the partner country, find it on the map, make a presentation where they introduce themselves and show their school life by means of some photos and pictures. We organize the project's TwinSpace and write and send introductory letters to our partners.

We make a trip to a local zoo to see African animals live. At the zoo, we take photos and make an animal album, which we share on TwinSpace. We learn names of animals in English and make posters for our foreign friends. We learn how to describe animals in English and make a class exhibition. We try to find and watch some programmes which show the life of African animals.

We also prepared and shared animal riddles!                                                                                                                   DONE!

    TOPIC: AFRICAN ART
We do the research on the Internet and in the school library to find examples of some typical African art and patterns. We watch photos of African people and the decorations and ornaments they use. We try to copy some of these in our art lessons. We use these ideas to make beautifully decorated African-style Christmas cards and send them to our peers.
We visit a local church which exhibits nativity art from a variety of countries around the world and learn what the African ones consist of. We try to make an African nativity scene in our classroom.
We sing Christmas carols and send a recording to our friends to listen to.

    MONTH FIVE: JANUARY

    TOPIC: PROBLEMS AFRICA FACES
We learn about the problems people in Africa face. What would they need to lead happier lives? We try to make a New Year's wish list for Africa. We scan it and put onto TwinSpace to compare our wishes with the wishes of our friends. Will they come up with the same ideas?

    ccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc

    MONTH SIX: FEBRUARY

TOPIC: LIVING IN THE JUNGLE vs LIVING IN THE DESERT
What is it like to live in the jungle? What is it like to live in the desert? We try to find as much information on this topic as possible: read books and articles, search the Internet, find some programmes or video clips. Then we try to imagine ourselves in these conditions. Which would we prefer? The jungle or the desert? Which offers safer, better, more interesting life? We write a page from our imagined diary - "A day in the life".

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    MONTH SEVEN: MARCH

    TOPIC: AFRICAN SCHOOLS
What is life of an African child like? What is school like? What about classrooms? Lessons? Teachers? Homework? How are European schools different from African ones? We try to find answers to these questions by exploring the topic of education in Africa. After we watch programmes about it and read some information, we try to compare our school with an African one and share our ideas on TwinSpace.

Then we choose our favourite one, illustrate it and write it in simple English. We put it on TwinSpace for our friends to read and enjoy, too.
