Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Today (17/12/2014) mushrooms constructed from clay. Having first seen as a presentation all known mushrooms in our region, each student chose a mushroom which then constructed kneading. In addition each student undertook to find more information about the mushroom!
A live videoconference was held very successfully today 05.12.2014 with Skype. Our school was connected with The CDS "San Filippo" di Città di Castello / International Primary School "San Filippo", Città di Castello (PG), Italy (Andrea Mennella) and Zespół Szkół Szkoła Podstawowa im. K. Odnowiciela i Gimnazjum w Pobiedziskach, Pobiedziska, Poland (Magdalena Goc). The partener Nana Paliashvili Village kumisi public school, Gardabani, Georgia, has not responded to our invitation and did not participate in the teleconference. Students of all three schools have spoken to each other in English, they exchanged information on the identity and interests, exchanged good wishes for Christmas and the new year and finally sang Christmas songs in English and in their native language. It was the first conference call with three schools organized and despite the few sound problems, left the best impression on students and teachers, and promises were made to repeat. We thank them all very much for their participation and especially the English teacher of our school Loukia Karachaliou for their valuable assistance.

"The world of mushrooms" 2nd Primary School of Grevena Greece
Students will learn all kinds of mushrooms, recognize and learn to distinguish edible from poisonous. Know the role of mushrooms in nature recycling learn about the nutritional value of mushrooms to write recipes and cook them in order to do painting and crafts for the mushroom to share all this with all the partner schools and make with interactive international profile of the mushroom.
