This project starts with an empty suitcase, which will little by little be filled up with cultural bits and pieces of each country, and once everything is packed, we will be ready to check in and go on board!
Every month both countries will work on different issues that aim at deepening into the knowledge of each other, starting with Christmas traditions, and moving on to our hometowns, artistic heritage, gastronomy, and environmental footprint, among others.
By the end of the course, our students will have learned several aspects of their European Twin-Friends’ countries, but they will have done so through real experiences of communication and collaboration, crossing the frontier of the school walls to make actual linguistic exchanges in Spanish and in English, both being L2 among our students.
At that point, our suitcases will be full of the cultural know-how, linguistic motivation, and personal eagerness needed to engage on an actual trip from Ihringen to Aranda and viceversa.
