9th February is the Safer Internet Day. We are going to play a Kahoot game on 9th February at 7:00 pm CET.
We are going to create a transnational kahoot team. Each teacher is going to choose a volunteer student from his/her team and inform me. I am going to interact with them through twinmail and whatsapp. Each student is going to suggest a question about how to be safe on the internet. Then they are going to collect the questions and create a kahoot.
We are going to play it! Let's see who wins!
Kahoot
Students were very cheerful, engaged and motivated, it was a great lesson. In the end, they wanted to create their own questions to cover the issues that they personally find important. Our collaborative Kahoot was a jackpot today!

Safer Internet Day Kahoot was a very entertaining activity. Teachers and students collaborated to create a kahoot about how to be safe online.
First, teachers had an online meeting to discuss the activities for the project. I suggested playing Kahoot. Then I asked participant teachers to pick a volunteer student and ask them to research about internet safety to create questions for the Kahoot.
Students prepared the questions and sent them to me through Twinmail.
The students in my team collected the questions and I showed them how to create a Kahoot. They created the Kahoot via my Kahoot account.
Then students created a poster using Canva. All the students in Bursa team joined Cağın and Bulut while they were designing the poster.
On 9th February, Reading Your City project team came together on Zoom to play Kahoot. Students and teachers answered the questions and it was fun! We enjoyed it so much.
It was a very collaborative activity. Students and teachers revised their knowledge about internet safety.
Teachers and students who couldn't join the live Kahoot session played it in their lessons.
