This project, entitled "The Heroes' Journey", aims to raise awareness of the culture and mythology of each corner of Europe based on the journeys that the heroes of mythology and classical history have made through our geography. The pupils of each collaborating centre will choose the areas and the characters, either from legends or from the real history of each place that have special relevance for each area. The idea is for all students to work in mixed groups to create a shared Mythical Geography map of Europe. To do this, we will use technology to create a virtual route through each area. The result will be a global collaborative project in which we will reconstruct the mythical legend of each area, the cultural heritage of each civilisation and the artistic heritage that surrounds us. The pupils will use all the information provided by new technologies and sources and will always have to share their learning experience with the pupils of the collaborating centres.
