WHITE NOISE – an eTwinning project on media literacy and disinformation

WHITE NOISE is an eTwinning project aiming at creating an international team of secondary school and language school students from Poland, Lebanon and Spain who will work together on developing their media literacy and digital competences to stay safe in social media and to be able to identify disinformation and fake news. In groups they analyse the way of getting and passing on information and work on it, gradually work on developing their media literacy skills that will among many allow them to identify disinformation and fake news. Youngsters will question first impressions, be made aware of their own prejudices, and determine how serious the source of their information is. This will help separate fact from fiction and navigate their way through the complexities of reality.
