Plastic pollution is one of the biggest problems of the world. Every year, about 8 million tons of plastic waste end up in oceans, which is harming animals and possibly human life. (source: National Geographic). We deal with the negative consequences of the overuse of plastic for people, animals and the environment. Each human being can reduce the use of plastic at home and at school. In this project, we study the origin of plastics and try to find ways how to reduce the overusing of plastics. The aim of the project is to raise awareness about the danger of plastic in our environment.Therefore, we want to encourage our students to be more sensitive and think about the environmental issues such as plastics. Our project is for 11-13 age group students. The students investigate the worldwide problems caused by the use of the plastics and explore alternative solutions. Students make questionnaires about their behavior at school, at home, in the neighbourhood and in the city in using plastic and how to keep the environment plastic free. Let’s be responsible for our environment and make it plastic free and we must fight for our future.
